Mr. Carlson has been helping his clients recover investment losses in front of FINRA (formerly the NASD), State and Federal Courts for over a decade. Mr. Carlson has recovered millions of dollars for his clients over the years through litigation, arbitration and mediation. As the founding member of the Carlson Law Firm, Mr. Daniel Carlson has focused his legal practice on handling investor securities disputes between investors and professionals in the financial industry such as investment advisors, stockbrokers, and banks.
After graduating from the University of San Diego in 1988, Mr. Carlson received his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in 1993. Mr. Carlson served as an extern and law clerk to the Honorable John J. Hargrove Ret., United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of California and is admitted to the State Bar of California and the Federal District Court for the Central and Southern Districts of California.
Mr. Carlson is a member of the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association, a national association of attorneys specializing in stockbroker disputes, the San Diego County Bar Association and other local, state and national bar groups. Mr. Carlson also provides seminars to CPAs and other professionals on the Securities Industry.
